Planning & Structure
First, I start by outlining the purpose of the website and the core features it will need. I map out the architecture—what will go into the front end (React) and how the back end will handle data (Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB).
Setting Up the Environment
I set up my development environment. I install Node.js and initialize the project. I set up a basic Express server to handle API requests, and integrate MongoDB, which I often connect via Mongoose, a popular ODM (Object Data Modeling) library.
