Banks receive applications with supporting documents (payslips, bank statements, ID, tax
forms), and a share of them are forged or altered. This agent screens every file automatically
and surfaces only the risky ones for a human to review.
1. Ingest each applicant's document package from the intake system or a monitored folder.
2. Run OCR / Document Intelligence to extract text, fields, fonts, and layout metadata.
3. Cross-check fields for internal consistency (income vs. employer vs. dates) and against the
application data.
4. Detect tampering signals — font mismatches, edited regions, impossible values, duplicated
templates, metadata anomalies.
5. Use LLM reasoning to explain in plain language why a file looks suspicious, for the
reviewer.
6. Assign a fraud-risk score and route only flagged cases to a human review queue; autoclear the rest.
