Nextjs developer to work on existing site for updating and new pages
About Giorgi
Full stack web development
Tbilisi, Georgia - 8:14 pm local time
Artlist Studio (via Webiz International), AI toolkit and video creation
I contributed to the launch of Artlist Studio, an AI-powered video production platform, fixing bugs and shipping incremental improvements across a Next.js monolith and a Nest.js backend. The codebase was built around Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, and CQRS, and my work kept a large modular system consistent while the team shipped new features weekly. I used AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to speed up day-to-day work, collaborating through Git branching and code review.
Aldagi, the largest insurance company in Georgia
I built full-stack insurance flows (MTPL, vehicle, travel, property, LCI) with Next.js and Nest.js, so customers could buy policies online instead of going through an agent. I built admin dashboards for internal operations, cutting the time it took the team to resolve issues, and set up PostgreSQL, Prisma, and Docker-based environments for staging and production to keep deployments consistent across the team. I worked with product managers in Agile sprints to keep features aligned with business needs.
Independent contract and freelance work
I built 9+ full-stack platforms for direct clients (e-commerce, streaming, offer-and-survey rewards sites), several of which started generating $100 to $750+ within two to three weeks of launch. I developed Konogima, an anime streaming platform that grew to 2,000+ daily active users and reached #7 in Georgia in 2023, and launched rbxtask, a rewards platform that earned $450 in its first two weeks.
I integrated payment systems including PayPal, Paddle subscriptions and billing, crypto wallets, and smart contracts (Solidity), and built RESTful APIs with role-based access and server-side rendering for SEO.
I took on contract work through Upwork, heavily optimizing a client's website: tuning Next.js rendering, adding lazy loading, and performance testing that raised their Google Lighthouse score from 45 to 90+. I also built 10+ blog pages and reusable components for a more consistent UI. Alongside this I mentored 4 junior developers on code quality and onboarding.
