You will get clean, structured financial or market data scraped and delivered

Project details
I turn financial and market data that's scattered across websites, filings, and PDFs into clean, structured datasets you can actually work with. Company filings, stock prices, fundamentals, economic indicators, fund or portfolio data, if it exists somewhere messy, I get it into CSV, Excel, JSON, or straight into your database.
This is the core of what I do. I built Markets.tn, a Bloomberg-style market terminal, where I scrape live data for 80+ listed companies, parse annual and interim financial statements out of raw PDF filings, and aggregate macro, forex, and commodity data from multiple sources. So difficult, inconsistent financial sources are exactly my comfort zone.
What sets this apart: I come from a finance background (MSc, LSE), so I understand what the numbers mean, not just how to extract them. That means cleaner mappings, sensible handling of things like adjusted figures and reporting periods, and data you can trust rather than just data that's technically "pulled."
Tell me your sources and the fields you need and I'll confirm the right package, or quote a custom one. For anything unusual or large, message me first so I can scope it accurately.

About Fayed
Full-Stack & AI Dev for Finance | SaaS, Web, Automation, Data
Tunis, Tunisia - 9:07 pm local time
Hiring a developer who doesn't get finance means explaining yourself twice and still getting it half wrong. I came up through finance before I went into code, so balance sheets, reconciliations, and how markets actually work aren't things you'll have to walk me through. You skip the translation step entirely.
My MSc at the London School of Economics was specifically in Real Estate Economics and Finance, on top of a BSc in Finance with First Class Honours from the University of Westminster. Then I went into software full-time. These days I build, and I run a small dev agency in Tunis.
What I'm good at:
- Fintech and market data: trading dashboards, terminals, portfolio tools, the pipelines behind them
- Real estate and proptech: valuation and investment tools, REIT and property data, mortgage and cash-flow models
- Finance automation: reconciliations, reporting, chewing through statements and invoices
- AI agents that read documents, pull out what matters, and handle the boring analysis nobody wants to do
- SaaS, web, e-commerce, and mobile, built properly and end to end
Proof I can do the hard stuff: I built Markets.tn on my own in 4 months, a Bloomberg-style terminal for the Tunisian market. 80+ live equity feeds, financial statements dragged out of genuinely awful PDFs, news scraped from 11 sources, portfolio tracking. The data was the nightmare, not the app, and honestly that's how finance work always goes. That same toolkit (scraping, parsing, automating) works just as well on e-commerce or operations, so if your project lives just outside finance, I've still got you.
Why people stick with me: modern stack, no mess left behind, you own all the code, and I don't vanish the day it ships.
Got a fintech MVP, a trading dashboard, an AI agent, a property investment tool, or a reconciliation you'd happily never touch again? Send it over.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Fayed can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Fayed receives requirements from you.
Fayed works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Review & confirm feasibility
I check your sources and confirm exactly what can be extracted and how, plus the right package or a custom quote. (Description: This protects you, we agree on scope and output before any build.)
Build the extraction
I build the pipeline that pulls, parses, and cleans the data from your sources.
