Hosni Snoun received the national engineering Degree in hydraulics and development from University of Jendouba, Tunisia, in 2010, the M.Sc. Of engineering degree in modeling in hydraulics and environment from University of Tunis El Manar, national engineering school of Tunis, in 2013, and the Ph.D. Degree in hydraulics engineering from University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia, in 2021.

Hosni Snoun currently works at the Namdhaja environmental consulting design office. Hosni does research in Meteorology, data assimilation and air quality. He’s primarily a transport and weather modeler, and interested in all kinds of transport processes into the atmosphere (radionuclides, aerosols, road traffic pollution, volcanic ash…etc). His new research interest focuses on machine learning coupled with meteorological data assimilation for environmental impact risk assessment and operational forecasts.
