• Backend & APIs — Python, Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL. Clean, documented REST APIs and the full e-commerce domain (catalog, cart, checkout, orders, inventory, vendors, analytics).
• AI integration — I've shipped an AI Virtual Try-On feature (FASHN AI computer-vision API + Real-ESRGAN upscaling) that turns flat product photos into realistic on-model imagery. I integrate vision/payment/third-party APIs into real products.
• Data engineering & legacy migration — I built and originally owned a platform in CodeIgniter/PHP/MySQL, then led its migration to a modern Django/Python/PostgreSQL stack using a binlog-based change-data-capture pipeline — syncing the legacy database live, with no downtime. Modernizing or rescuing legacy PHP apps is squarely my wheelhouse.
• Deploy & infra — AWS S3, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, Docker, CI/CD. I ship to production, not just localhost.
Most recently I build and operate the e-commerce platform behind InStyle New York — a hub-and-spoke architecture where one Django core powers multiple branded storefronts. I also run Rey WebWorks, where I've independently shipped 5+ production client sites end-to-end.
