I build the Custom Product Catalog Management Engine, a database-native solution designed to transform unsearchable and messy product descriptions and attributes into highly structured database taxonomies for blazingly fast product search.
While standard catalog management is often treated as manual data entry, resulting in slow query speeds, poor search discovery, and high data decay, I approach catalog optimization as a master database architect.
Using Google BigQuery and Dataform (SQLX), I extract your legacy ERP databases (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and supplier feeds, run multi-source entity resolution, and execute Attributization (extracting raw text into standardized key-value pairs).
Crucially, I leverage BigQuery Graph (GQL) to map complex alternative-part relationships and cross-references natively.
