Laravel Livewire Code Review and Improvements (TALL)
Had over 30 applicants for job. Decided on Riju as he said he was an expert even thought his price was 2-4x other applicants and more than I earn. The problem was actually stupidly simply to fix, but he solved it. It was a wrapper missing for the code. But the code he submitted was still dirty with his workings. Somehow this took 3 hours of time, which I really do not understand how the time was spent. I also supplied 2 pages of explanation with screenshots and a video, so understanding of the problem was well explained. When I raised how he could spend 3 hours on this he got defensive and told me to end the contract. He did not commit any more work. So I ended the contract and here's the review.

Riju communicated well. He completed the part of the work that he was able to. There was a misunderstanding in the project description, meaning he could not complete the task. Would rehire him for other tasks.
