With over 6 years of experience and a degree in Computer Science, I’ve built a broad skill set that allows me to design and deliver full-scale systems and deploy them on reliable platforms like AWS, using modern technologies.
One of my most notable achievements was serving as Head of Reconciliation at a fintech company, where I managed complex reconciliation systems responsible for maintaining the integrity of millions of transactional data records, worth millions of dollars. These systems handled the full transaction lifecycle, from Authorization to Settlement (including Refunds and Chargebacks), and batched transactions into deposits that made sense to customers in a React dashboard. The system also handled failure scenarios such as capture failures, along with many other edge cases. All of this was deployed on AWS, using Step Functions to orchestrate multiple ECS services and Lambda functions.
My default tech stack includes Next.js or React on the frontend, and Node.js backends, either traditional Express servers or serverless Node runtimes deployed as AWS Lambda functions and microservices. For data, I typically use managed database platforms such as Supabase (PostgreSQL), MongoDB, or Firebase (Firestore and related services). For deployment, I usually work with AWS and/or DigitalOcean, but I’m comfortable adapting to other platforms, especially given today’s AI-accelerated development workflows.
