Transfer Figma to Wix, Complete Website (3pages) and go live
Unapproved charges, refund promised but unpaid for 3+ months (Blessing & David)
Project hired for:
Figma → Wix Studio build through launch. Clean, responsive site aligned to our Figma and brand guide.
Pricing sequence (exact order):
1. $300 for Figma only. We paid this first.
2. Flat fee for full Figma→Wix and completion. After the Figma charge, Blessing proposed a flat build to finish the site and launch. We agreed.
3. Later: +$300 for “mobile optimization.” We explicitly said to hold off on mobile until desktop was finalized. We were still charged for mobile.
What went wrong (chronological facts):
- Scope shifted after payment. What was presented as a flat “to-launch” build suddenly excluded mobile unless we paid another $300.
- Unapproved mobile billing. Despite our written instruction to pause mobile, we were charged for it anyway.
- Quality / rework loop. We repeatedly flagged basics (spacing/alignment, color consistency, header/hamburger behavior, button links, mobile readability). Desktop never reached a confident, launch-ready state.
- Undisclosed handoff to David. Work was passed from Blessing to David without clear prior notice. We only discovered the handoff after David was already making changes. Communication and quality became inconsistent.
- Attempted upsell instead of resolution. Rather than fix billing/delivery gaps, we were pushed toward another service to “make up for it.” We declined.
Refund status (documented):
- Blessing agreed in writing to refund $300 for the unapproved “mobile optimization.”
- She later said she didn’t have the money to issue the refund.
- It has now been over 3 months with no refund paid and no meaningful communication toward resolution.
- We escalated through Upwork, which did not resolve the issue.
- We are currently out roughly $1,000 with no launch-ready site delivered.
Why this is 1 star:
- Pricing moved from $300 (Figma) → flat fee to complete → another $300 for mobile we told them to hold.
- Charges posted without approval and before a launch-ready desktop existed.
- Undisclosed handoff to David mid-project created confusion and uneven output.
- Refund was promised, then withheld for 3+ months, citing lack of funds.
- No resolution after ample time and an Upwork escalation.
Outcome:
We paused the engagement and requested refunds for the unapproved “mobile optimization” and related charges. As of this review, there is no refund and no launch-ready site matching the agreed scope.
Advice to future clients:
- Lock a written, fixed scope that explicitly includes desktop + mobile through launch.
- Use milestone payments tied to working deliverables: desktop ready, mobile ready, QA complete, launch.
- Require written approval for any add-ons or hourly time before work starts.
- Require written notice and consent for any handoff (e.g., to David) before they touch the project.
- If a task is paused in writing, dispute any charges that appear anyway.
- If a refund is promised, set a firm deadline and escalate immediately if missed.
Bottom line:
Our engagement with Blessing (and later David) involved shifting scope, unapproved charges, an undisclosed handoff, and a refund promised but unpaid for over 3 months. We’re ~$1,000 out of pocket with no completed site. Based on our experience, we do not recommend hiring Blessing or David.

The problem isn’t the AI. It’s how the video is created.
That’s where I come in.
📈 Clients don’t hire me for videos. They hire me for results. As a 5 star freelancer on Upwork, I specialize in AI video ads, explainers, and content that sells.
I’m Shedrack Blessing, an AI video specialist helping businesses and creators turn plain ideas into powerful, scroll-stopping content that gets results. I don’t just create video. I create visual stories designed to convert.
✅ Real Results. Real Engagement.
Case Study: A startup founder needed to pitch investors with zero time to prep.
🎥 I created an AI-powered explainer video in less than 48 hours using custom avatars and voiceovers.
📈 The pitch deck stood out, helped close meetings and won funding in 3 weeks.
📊 Today, they use the same video (with new voiceovers) for marketing and onboarding.
Your brand can win attention and sales the same way.

❌ You’re not using video to educate, sell, or onboard—and it’s slowing your growth.
❌ You’re overwhelmed with where to even begin creating video content.
I turn those problems into scalable, AI-powered solutions.
