Port Invoice Management System is a custom-built web application for managing complex invoicing operations in international trade and port logistics. It was developed for Atlantic Industries (Far East) Ltd to digitize export, proforma, and VAT invoicing workflows.
The platform centralizes invoice creation, product catalogs, customer and supplier records, port and vessel details, and multi-currency pricing into a secure system. Automated calculations, currency conversions, and document generation reduce manual effort and common invoicing errors.
It supports real-time invoice calculations, freight and container details, and invoice locking to ensure accuracy after finalization. Advanced export features include PDF invoices, packing lists, and Excel reports for operational use.
Built with Django and PostgreSQL, the system follows a scalable architecture with a responsive Bootstrap interface. AJAX-powered forms and autocomplete fields improve data entry speed across devices.
