If you need someone with attention to detail, who can follow directions, and checks their own work before calling it finished, look elsewhere.
Our Experience:
We hired Muzammil on an hourly basis for ongoing design and build work on our website. It did not work out, and I want to give an accurate account for anyone considering him.
His first delivery was sent to us as a finished page, ready for review. When we looked at it, the page was mostly generated text rather than the material we had given him. It contained quotes and statistics that were simply invented. Parts of it referenced a product that had nothing to do with our project, and the finalized copy we had supplied was ignored. When we documented all of this, Muzammil confirmed in writing that the content came from an automated layout step and that he had not checked it before sending it over. He had already billed 5 hours for that delivery.
To be clear, we have no problem with a contractor using AI tools. The problem is submitting unreviewed AI output as a completed deliverable and then billing more hours to fix the parts that were never checked the first time. That is what happened here.
After the first round, he estimated three to four hours and said the rebuild would be an exact match to our brief. It was not. We gave two rounds of detailed, line-by-line feedback, and he was still unable to produce a usable page. The final version left earlier problems unresolved and added new ones.
The contract was hourly with manual time entry, so there is no record of how the time was actually spent. We were billed roughly 9 hours and $180 and received nothing we could use. We decided it was not worth the time to dispute the charges, closed the contract, and hired someone else.
Plenty of contractors can do this work and check it before billing for it. In our experience, Muzammil was not one of them.
