I hired this freelancer to improve my existing Qur’an learning app in terms of design, functionality, user experience, and overall quality. I provided him with my original working code and asked him to review it and confirm whether he could improve it.
Unfortunately, every version he delivered was lower quality than my original work. The delivered app did not improve the design, functionality, or learning experience. Instead, it removed or weakened my original branding, used a generic dashboard layout, duplicated navigation, wasted screen space, and failed to provide a better educational experience than the original app I had already built.
The project is now almost a month past the agreed deadline which was April 14, 2026. I also gave the freelancer multiple opportunities to correct the work and provide something better than my original app. However, each time, he submitted incomplete or low-quality work and asked me to review it and provide more feedback, instead of delivering a complete and improved product.
The purpose of the contract was not simply to build something different or to start something from the start. The purpose was to improve my existing app. Since the delivered work is late, incomplete, and lower quality than what I originally provided, it does not meet the agreed purpose of the contract.
For these reasons, I am requesting a full refund of the escrow funds.

ChartLock Azure Functions Node.js 22 Upgrade + Safe Deployment Testing
Great work by Himanshu on this Azure Functions Node.js runtime upgrade. He handled the task carefully, upgraded the backend from Node.js 20 to Node.js 22, and verified that the backend remained functional afterward. He was responsive, professional, and understood the importance of reliability, minimal downtime, GitHub deployment, Azure configuration, managed identity/Key Vault behavior, OpenAI integration, authentication, and Stripe webhook functionality.
This was an important maintenance task for a live production application, and Himanshu completed it thoroughly and responsibly. I appreciate his continued work on the project and would be happy to work with him again. Absolutely 5 stars!!
