Areas of Expertise:
- Python: I have over 10+ years experience (since Python 2) and have worked with LangChain, FastAPI, pandas/numpy, flask/django, requests, scikt/PyTorch/tensorflow/keras, multiprocessing/apscheduler/asyncio, and BioPython.
- Rust: I have built several libraries ranging from parsers to embedded applications.
- React: 3+ years of experience. I've built a highly complex components as well as incorporated websockets to enable intuitive and responsive interfaces. React is my "go-to" for most UI problems. I prefer to use react in combination with Typescript, but I have no problem using vanilla Javascript.
- HTML/CSS: 15+ years of experience building static HTML interfaces.
- Linux/Unix: This is my preferred platform. I have 5+ years of light devops / sys admin and am able to configure the system. I've effectively used Docker in a variety of contexts.
- DBs: I have experience using Postgresql, supabase, MongoDB, and many others.
- Figma: I use Figma to design mock interfaces and UML diagrams.

Using a pen and paper, I'll write down your requirements as bullet points and fill in anything else I might need to add. Then I'll doodle each page, just so I can visualize where everything will go.
Design
After sketching, I will design wireframes in Figma to better plan the site and its responsiveness. Then I will begin designing web pages.
