Convert Google Sheets Application to a Custom Website
When I first met Fazal, he came across as professional and confident. He promised me everything at a fair price, understood the project well in our first meeting, and we agreed on clear deliverables, timelines, and milestones. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
The problems started immediately after the contract began on July 20th. The first milestone, due July 25th, was missed. Fazal then informed me he was overwhelmed with other projects and requested more time. I tried to be accommodating, but the second milestone due August 1st was also missed. This time, he explained he was moving to China and needed additional days. I granted an extra 20 days to be fair.
Despite repeated assurances, nothing substantial was delivered until August 31st, when Fazal finally sent over an AI-generated website that barely functioned. It was clear from reviewing the code that very little—if anything—had been done before that date. The “work” provided could have been created within an hour using free AI tools.
Even then, Fazal was quick to request payment for the first milestone. I paid in good faith, but the lack of real progress became undeniable. His communication soon turned into a pattern of excuses—first overwhelmed with projects, then moving countries, then a hospital stay. Each time, he promised he was “working on it right now,” but the project never advanced.
As of September 15th, the agreed completion date, I had nothing usable—just a broken, AI-generated site and weeks of wasted time. The experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
Fazal presents himself as knowledgeable and personable, but in my experience, he does not follow through on commitments, fails to meet deadlines, and provides substandard work. I would strongly advise other clients to stay away from this freelancer if you value reliability, professionalism, and actual deliverables.
