A by product of this process is that it also documents your server. This job usually takes only a few minutes to run then approximately 2 hours for me to evaluate and provide you with recommendations. This process also includes a complete overview of indexes and recommendations for missing, duplicate and unused indexes. I also include the most expensive queries and longest running queries. This is a great starting point for me to get to know your environment and find your pain points.
