I build web apps and websites that are meant to run in production, not just look good in a demo. A lot of what I've worked on is software people actually depend on every day, so reliability isn't an afterthought for me.
Most of my work is in Laravel and PHP. I've built and run my own products on this stack: a loans and balances platform, a SaaS for renewals and reminders, and a point-of-sale system that serves multiple businesses at once. I handled those from the database design through to deployment and keeping them running, so I have a good sense of what breaks at scale and how to avoid it.
The way I work is pretty simple. I write clean, modular code and I go for the straightforward solution that actually solves the problem instead of over-engineering it. That keeps things easy to change later, and it means you're not stuck depending on me forever.
