Payment & Payout flow:
1) Buyer makes a payment
2) Commission fees are deducted
3) Payouts are sent to Sellers
Account Types: Express, Standard, Custom
ADDITIONAL IMPLEMENTATIONS:
Payment Methods: Create ability to save & display saved card list, so Buyer can re-use in the future:
Credit / Debit Cards
Bank Direct Debits: ACH, SEPA, Bacs, PADs
Bank Transfers / ACH Credit Transfers
Pre-Authorized Payments: Save card pre-authorizations, charge card only if the Seller approves of the order, booking, request, etc.
Scheduled Payouts: "Escrow-Like" behavior, send payouts to Seller on a specific date.
Deposit/Balance Payments: Initial upfront deposit, schedule balance payments.
Refund Implementation: Implement custom refund functionality & logic that exactly matches your marketplace's refund/cancellation policy.
