I build secure Checkout for one-time and recurring payments, verify events with signed webhooks (so upgrades, cancellations, and failed payments actually update your app), and wire up the customer billing portal so users manage their own plans. I handle the edge cases tutorials skip: webhook signature verification, idempotency, failed-payment handling, and entitlement gating so only paying users get access.
