Auto Health Check
This was an extremely disappointing and concerning experience. Arjit did not complete any work on this project no drafts, no partial deliverables, no communication, nothing. The contract sat inactive for nearly two years because the freelancer simply disappeared.
Then, after almost two years of total silence, Arjit suddenly submitted a milestone as “Completed” for work they never provided. No explanation, no files, no messages just an attempt to get paid for work that was never done. This is completely unacceptable and feels intentionally misleading.
I funded Milestone 1 in good faith, but absolutely nothing was delivered. The project was abandoned from the start and only resurfaced when the freelancer tried to submit an unearned milestone.
Future clients should avoid working with this freelancer.
The combination of no communication, no delivery, and submitting a fraudulent milestone after years of inactivity is a major red flag. There are many great freelancers on Upwork unfortunately this was not one of them.
