Wix Studio Website Developer
Overall the website was built and it looks good. The animations on the site look great. I think the issue was communication. We had a deadline for this site and was told by Ammar that it would get done by deadline and everyday after deadline he would tell me that it will be done today, but it wasn't. Everyday the past after deadline was "it will be finished today", to find out that it wouldn't be. Even after he said everything was done, I went to review it again and it wasn't done, so I had to be on top of him on website edits the whole time. He finally finished it 11 days after deadline. Stakeholders wasn't happy. If Ammar would have been more transparent on a realistic time frame rather than telling us what we want to hear, we would have went with another developer or had told the client a more realistic deadline so they wouldn't have gotten mad. Imagine telling stakeholders that it will be done today (DAILY) and you will show them the site, to then say to them it wasn't built and you couldn't show them anything, didn't make us look good. The website is built and it looks good but it was always: "You told us it would be done today" and Ammar saying it will be done tomorrow. and never getting done. I will not recommend Ammar if you have a strict deadline. Hire him if you're looking for a more open timeline because his work was good.

Ammar did complete work once pushed, but unfortunately I had quite a bit of trouble in getting him to complete work. I felt like I had to continue checking in, and was not proactively followed up with. I don't think i'd work with him again.
