Theme Migration: Bridge (Qode) to Hello (using Elementor Pro) including a new font & colours
Working with Abid on our WordPress theme migration was a great experience from start to finish.
The project involved migrating a full website from the Bridge (Qode) theme to the Hello theme using Elementor Pro, including implementing a custom font (Carnas) and an updated color scheme across all pages.
From day one, Abid was communicative, proactive, and easy to work with. He set up a staging environment quickly and kept us informed at every step of the process. When he discovered that many design elements were missing after the theme switch, he rebuilt them from scratch in Elementor without complaint, showing real initiative and craftsmanship.
The scope of this project was significant. Abid completed the migration of over 25 pages, including service pages, blog archive and detail pages, etalage (portfolio) pages, FAQ, contact, legal pages, and more. He consistently delivered updates in batches and was always open to feedback. When we provided two rounds of detailed PDF feedback, he addressed every point thoroughly and quickly.
He also handled technical matters well, including Elementor Pro license activation, staging setup, putting test sites offline to protect SEO, cleaning up legacy Bridge theme plugins after migration, and finally transferring the completed site to the live domain.
What stood out most was his attitude. He was always respectful, patient, and solution-focused, even when feedback came in at a high volume. He clearly values long-term working relationships, and that shows in the quality and care he brings to his work.
