Unity VR Developer for Integration of 3D Buildings into Existing VR App
The freelancer showed good technical skills throughout the project and delivered several components with competence. However, he failed catastrophically when it mattered most: delivering the final build on time. Despite being warned repeatedly that the delivery date was absolutely critical due to a live event, he provided an outdated, unusable build — and offered no support when issues arose during the event itself. It left me completely alone in front of the client and caused serious reputational damage.
Worse still, I never even received the project source code, which was explicitly agreed upon from the beginning. This seems to have been a deliberate strategy on his part and is a clear breach of trust and professional ethics.
While technically capable, I cannot recommend this freelancer for any project where deadlines, accountability, or transparency are essential.
