I am a versatile attorney whose core competencies conveniently straddle the conjoined worlds of business and law and who is particularly capable of translating these competencies into a ready appreciation of my client's business needs. I have, to my advantage, priceless exposure at the highest echelons of Nigerian legal practice during my formative year at the bar at one of the most prestigious law firms in Nigeria. I bring to bear my formal legal training, global macro perspective (selected McKinsey "ideator" in 2016, MGI Prize for Europe), invaluable practical experience and capacity for local action on my client's needs and to conceptualize legal solutions that work. Over the course of my practice, I have represented corporate bodies and individuals during court proceedings, secured injunctions, incorporated various entities and undertaken due diligence as well as other numerous out-of-court functions on behalf of clients.
I hold a LL.B. (magna cum laude) from the University of Lagos (2015) and attained my bar qualification magna cum laude from the Nigerian Law School in the subsequent year. To broaden my horizon, and in keeping up with my bias for business law, I successfully undertook a course in business training with the African Leadership Network (in conjunction with the Central Bank of Nigeria) in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria (2017), which saw me gain skills in business modelling, business plan writing, spreadsheet design and financial statement analysis among other skills. My interests include foreign direct investment into Nigeria, immigration law, startups, tax planning, offshore entities and corporate restructuring.
