GA4 Health Check is an automated audit tool that runs 47 checks across a GA4 property and delivers a scored PDF report in 60 seconds.
The audit connects to the GA4 Data API and Admin API via Google OAuth and runs checks across 7 modules. Data retention verifies the property isn't silently deleting historical data on the 2-month default. Traffic quality scans the hostname report for staging, development, and internal traffic contaminating production data. Attribution checks the acquisition report for payment processor referral hijacking, UTM casing inconsistencies, and Unassigned channel inflation. Event tracking identifies zombie conversion events, duplicate firing, missing ecommerce funnel events, and malformed purchase event parameters. Privacy and consent verifies Consent Mode v2 implementation and scans for PII in event data. Property configuration checks timezone, currency, attribution model, custom dimension quota, and duplicate data streams. Ecommerce funnel validates the full event sequence from view_item through purchase against GA4's required parameter schema. Every finding is scored by severity (critical, high, or medium) and paired with a specific remediation step.
