My process:
I sit with your requirements and understand exactly what the product needs to do
I look at it from a mechanical engineering angle and check if it is feasible
I develop the concept in Autodesk Inventor
I build out the full detailed 3D CAD model with proper tolerances and assembly logic
I review it for Design for Manufacturing so there are no surprises at the factory
I prepare and deliver all final files and documentation
