Experienced Outreach SEO for Crypto Gambling Affiliate Sites – Guest Post & Backlink Acquisition
This was one of the worst freelance experiences I have had on Upwork.
We hired Abdul for several backlink placements. The milestones were approved after the links/articles were delivered, but multiple placements were later removed. In one case, the article now returns a 404, and the publisher confirmed to us directly that the article was taken down because they were not paid by the person who arranged the placement.
From our side, this looks like we paid for placements that were never properly secured with the publishers. That is not a small mistake. For link-building work, keeping the paid placements live is the core service.
We tried to resolve this privately for several weeks, but Abdul stopped giving meaningful updates and then stopped replying to repeated follow-ups entirely. We have now opened an Upwork dispute, requested a refund, and contacted the publishers directly to document what happened. We will also issue a subpoena.
Based on this experience, I would strongly warn other clients to be extremely careful. I cannot recommend this freelancer.
