SEO Forum Posting
Ansar was unable to deliver what was promised. Prior to us agreeing the contract for 15 forum mentions he assured me he had pre-warmed accounts on the forums requested. This wasn't true and he setup all new accounts in the name of my brand. He pasted massive ChatGPT guestpost on forums which got automatically banned and also did it under my brand name. Not natural mentions like discussed.
After failing to deliver he requested payment because he had spent so much time and the 'effort' and it was somehow my fault all his accounts for banned.
I had to walk him through step by step how to make posts, send him the exact URLs and even write the examples. Ended up paying the contract despite him delivering only 3 libks. Will not be using Ansar again.
Lesson learned, do it yourself next time.

Link Building & Outreach Specialist (Full Time)
Extremely disappointing experience. The freelancer logged dozens of unauthorized hours, completely disregarding clear instructions. I had to escalate the issue and lodge a dispute with Upwork just to get it addressed. Despite being explicitly told to stop billing, he continued logging time. When given a chance to rectify the situation, he repeated the same behavior. The work that was completed also ignored the specifications I had outlined. I would strongly caution others before hiring.
