Lead Generation for Specific Industry
Initially Mohibur was very communicative and professional. That quickly changed. During the contract he asked for a bonus for his employees after the lead list was already WAY past the promised deadline. The delivery of the list was delayed by almost a month. It was a large list so we were patient. However, we began to use the list for outreach and realized that over 10,000 of the list were fake emails that were pulled based off of domains or names that were similar to the industry that we were looking for. For example, we were looking for contacts in the woodworking manufacturing industry and as a result the contact emails we were given were a number of variations of "carpenter" once we spotted this trend we realized that the list was going cause severe waste of time and damage to our marketing infrastructure due to reaching out to unrelated clientele. Internally we had to review 15,000 contacts individually to ensure we had accurate data. I let Mohibur know that we wanted the list corrected and or a 50% refund. Mohibur stated that he couldn't provide a refund but could resolve the list. My team spent more time getting all of the poor data together so they could easily identify what data needed to be rectified or removed. I was happy with this resolution. However, Mohibur essentially ghosted us and has not followed through his promise. We reached out to upwork support who states since we paid and it was 30 days after since we noticed the poor work that it was up the the freelancer to make it right. Mohibur has done nothing of the sort. We are a small business and it was a significant investment for us for this project that had ZERO roi.
We have had no follow up from Mohibur and even gave him one more chance before writing this review. He still did not respond. He may write a response stating that there was turmoil in his region and as a result wasn't able to fulfil the obligation of fixing the poor quality of product presented, but that would be mis informed as well because i have been patient for a resolution on this for 1 year. We have extended every bit of grace to Mohibur as possible. He has been extremely un- professional and he has cost our company greatly in lost investment and a huge amount of labor to identify and resolve his mistakes.
