30s SaaS Explainer Video Motiongraphics
I am very satisfied with my experience working with Abdullah and the final video we have.
He is communicative in chat, polite, and responsive. Doesn't take days to respond but is prompt.
Abdullah has good animation skills. I like all the transitions and movements of elemens in the video.
The work phases are according to industry standards - Storyboard + feedback revisions, draft video + feedback revisions, Voiceover and Sound Effects, final video + revision. I was happy to work with this structure and Abdullah was as well.
The voiceover quality he chose was very good.
On the first draft of the storyboard, the font family of the text and some of the colour schemes didn't entirely match our website. But I simply provided those fonts and colours to Abdullah and he was happy to update them everywhere. So even if he forgets to inspect your website in detail for these, you can just provide them to him beforehand when you open the project and in the initial guidance, so he knows to add them at the very start.
On the initial final draft there weren't any douns effects for the animations or text/icons showing up, but I simply said it would be great to have it and Abdullah went and added SFX in all the relevant places, adding the cherry on top. So even if he misses something, you can simply mention it and he will do a very good job at whatever is missing.
I haven't had a feeling of "holding his hand". There are some editors out there that simply need guidance all the time. Abdullah isn't one of them. He knows what he's doing. He will carefully read any feedback you have and do his best to provide whatever you feel is missing.
After we were done with the landscape video, we also did a mobile version as well, which also turned out great. He understands how to move elements and animations around so that it looks great on vertical mobile screen as well.
I'd gladly work with him again.
