Agreed for 300€ on a custom 3d STL design job for a tabletop miniature. Victor, a co-worker of Franklin, wasn't able to fulfill contract skill wise. Asked for more money during the process to get the original 3d STL job done, as he underestimated work time and miscalculated. I said no way, raising prices afterwards while not even accomplishing the job halfway is an absolute no-go. As I had my doubts on his actual skills and as I wasn't willing to shove twice the money into a project and freelancer I lost trust in, I agreed for a digital kitbash from 2 STLs for the original 300€, to get at least something in return.
No progress again, after weeks a small slobby update with several flaws. Opened a case everywhere, got in contact with Franklin. Nice guy, apologized on Victors behalf, said we will find a solition. Send me back to Victor even trough I asked for a different solution as I didn't want to continue working with him. Still, as Franklin was nice and seemed to be pretty professional, and thought he might kick Victors ass, so I moved on with Victor. Now, a month later after the big arrousal, still not finished yet.
Meanwhile, I hired a different freelancer who did the job to my full pleasure within 8 working hours.
Victor and I started in February. No we have July. 8 working hours with a different Freelancer compared to several month, no finished project, no correct cost calculation with tries to raise the agreed price afterwards and then, when I settled for less, no drive to get the inferior job at least done.
Fuck your sorrys and apologies, they are worthless if your work doesn't follow your words.
Keep the halfdone work, keep my 300 bucks, hope other potential customers read this and stay away from you.
