I record from my little home studio with a RODE NT large diaphragm condenser microphone in an acoustic treated space. I then master the sound using Audacity and several plugins to enhance the quality, remove any mouth sounds, and add background music and sound effects if you need them.

I read through the client's script
Having the script and any refernece materials helps me refine the tone and style of the client's voiceover, so I'm prepared for recording.
Record the voiceover
From my purpose-built recording booth, I record a few takes of the script and choose the best one to use.
