My name is Mary Maxine, and I love to talk. I started in stand-up comedy working my material as MC and opening act for the touring comedians at The Laugh Shop in Cranbrook, BC. Between Cranbrook and Vancouver, I've performed and trained in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago. I moved to Vancouver to take acting classes at The Vancouver Film School. I then took voice classes with On The Mic Training.

I have over 15 years of public speaking experience, and I have worked with Roman Danylo, Jon Dore, and the late great Louie Anderson. I also performed for Martin Short on Canada’s Got Talent (from whom I received a “Yes"). I've been working to hone my performance craft through stand-up comedy and improv, acting, karaoke, and voiceover. I have outlined more of my experience and education in the attached resume.  

I am currently employed as a tour guide in downtown Vancouver and at Rogers Arena where I relay scripts of information with enthusiasm and some personal pizazz.
I’m a quick study with an even quicker wit, and I’m ready to take my voiceover career to the next level. Any advice or feedback would be invaluable to me as an artist.
