I hired this freelancer with the understanding that he would create and grow a YouTube channel that could be monetized and eventually generate income. During the process, my YouTube account was terminated, and I still do not have a clear explanation as to why this happened or what actions may have led to it.
What concerned me most was his plan once monetization was achieved. Rather than continuing under the existing contract and milestone structure, he wanted me to close the current contract with a 5-star review and then open an entirely new contract for the next phase, which was supposedly focused on creating videos that would actually generate revenue.
This arrangement did not make sense to me because the ultimate goal was not just monetization, but a channel that successfully earns money. I felt uncomfortable being asked to end the original contract and leave a positive review before seeing the full results that were discussed at the outset.
As things stand today, my account issues remain unresolved, the channel is not generating revenue, and I am left feeling disappointed with the experience and the way the project was structured.

One of the expectations I had was to receive guidance on how to operate and maintain the channel moving forward, but that support was not provided. I believe a 5-star review should be earned through exceptional service, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to customer success. Had more effort been made to ensure I felt supported and valued as a client, my experience and review may have been very different.
While I appreciate the partial refund, I remain unhappy with the overall outcome and do not feel the project delivered the value I was expecting.
