I am Josh, an electronic music producer with 15 years of experience. I have extensively produced a wide variety of genres including techno, psy, DnB, pop and IDM. My music has seen radio and DJ play and I have done commission work for governments and businesses. My speciality is in electronic music production with Ableton, although I also have a background in classical and rock with classical certifications.
In your lessons we will work on any area you want more experience in with a personal lesson plan created beforehand. This can be anything from mixing tips, sound design, synthesis & effect use - whether you are a beginner or more experienced and looking to grow.
We can cover:
• Synthesis - FM, wavetable and subtractive
• Sound design
• Effects and how to use them - compression, reverb etc.
• Mixing
• Creating an effective workflow for productivity
• Making instrument and effect racks
• Genre-specific tips - breakbeats, basslines, creating unique sounds
• Or just learning Ableton from scratch!
