Project details

You will get a clean, accurate score transcribed directly from your audio, by ear, by a trained musician.
I'm a conducting student and professional music copyist currently working with an academic orchestra in São Paulo. I transcribe daily as part of my score preparation workflow. Before any file leaves my desk, I run two checks that most transcribers skip: instrument range verification and page turn review. A transcription that looks right but sits in an impossible register, or that forces a page flip mid-phrase, isn't finished work.
My archival background trained me to catch what automated tools don't: ambiguous pitch, missing accidentals, rhythmic ambiguity in dense textures. That same rigor applies here.
What I deliver on every order:
— PDF score
— Sibelius .sib source file (stardand+)
— MP3 render
— Instrument range check and page turn review
MIDI and MP4 score video (notation scrolling with audio) available as add-on on Basic and Standard, included in Premium.

Message me before ordering if your piece is longer than 2 minutes or involves more than 6 parts — I'll give you a fixed quote for the full project.

Music Copyist | Transcription & Score Preparation | Orchestral Parts

Most score problems I've seen didn't start at a computer. They started in a rehearsal room — a missing part, a page turn that lands mid-phrase, an instrument written above its usable register. I spent years on both sides of that problem: as the person in the pit playing the part, and as the librarian responsible for every sheet on every stand.

I'm a conducting student at UNESP's Institute of Arts in São Paulo. I currently serve as music librarian and copyist for the UNESP Academic Orchestra, which means I manage the full cycle of score preparation for live performance: acquisition, editing, part extraction, printing, distribution, and the last-minute fixes that happen twenty minutes before downbeat. Before that, I spent three years running the physical and digital archives for NEOJIBA's youth orchestra and choir in Salvador, and before that, I performed as section pianist and collaborative accompanist for the same orchestra on national tours. I've been on the receiving end of a bad score. I don't produce them.

The precision side: my recent archival work includes cataloging and analyzing over 2,600 historical musical documents from a 19th-century sacred music collection, as well as conducting a comprehensive study of the Spartaco Rossi manuscript archive, both under academic musicological supervision. That kind of work trains you to catch errors that automated tools won't: ambiguous notation, missing accidentals, inconsistent transpositions. The same rigor applies to every Sibelius file I finalize.

Every order includes instrument range verification and page turn review as standard, not because clients ask for them, but because a score that fails in performance isn't finished work.

I deliver PDFs, extracted parts, .sib source files, MIDI, MP3, and MP4 score videos. Response within 4 hours.
