Purchasing recording equipment for the first time (or even the fifth time) can be an intimidating process. There is so much out there and so much jargon to cut through. I have spent years teaching audio recording, editing, and sound design. In that position, I have helped students with varying budgets and goals find the best system for them, while also equipping major performance spaces and classrooms with larger-scale systems.
In our consultation, we will discuss your specific needs and budget, and I will provide recommendations for sound systems that will work for you. If you choose, you may add a second consultation to happen after you receive your equipment so that I can help you with basic setup questions.
These sessions are for equipment selection and setup — I will not be able to teach you how to use the equipment in these sessions. If you need assistance learning how to use the equipment, I will be happy to work out additional sessions with you.
