I’m disappointed with this experience. The freelancer did not follow instructions carefully and, even after multiple revisions, failed to fix basic issues (for example, text overlapping in the video). It felt like the work was not properly reviewed before being submitted, as obvious mistakes were immediately visible.
A short video had to be revised several times, and I eventually got tired of repeating the same feedback. I also had to cancel another version due to the same lack of attention to detail and overall approach to the work.
I’ve worked with many freelancers on Upwork over the years, and this was my first clearly unprofessional experience. The task itself was very simple—just a short video with minimal text—yet the quality remained at a very beginner level.
This is not about the price, but about the attitude toward the work. I ended the contract not because I received a satisfactory result, but because I could no longer spend time on unproductive back-and-forth communication.
I would not recommend this freelancer and will not work with him again.
