Hi! I’m Kira. I’m a singer, songwriter, and music educator. I’m primarily a vocalist and play functional piano and guitar. I’ve spent the last ten years engaged in studying music, recording, and performing while living in LA, Nashville, and New York. I now reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an artist, I’ve released two full length records, four EPs, and several singles. I’ve also toured independently in established venues and have done the house concert circuit. To achieve longevity as a musician, it’s important to be of service and establish trust, not only be the artist. I’ve served as a freelance lead vocalist, songwriter/co-writer, background vocalist, vocal arranger, amateur photographer, rhythm guitarist, and private/group music teacher. I’m familiar with singing in multiple settings, whether it be the studio, a wedding, corporate function, or a showcase. Some of the artists I’ve sang with include Ernie Halter, Dara Tucker, Katie Buxton, and MELD.

I received my Associate of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance at the LA College of Music in 2013, under the direction of well-respected musicians, such as Dorian Holley (Musical Director and Background Vocalist for Michael Jackson), Tierney Sutton (Jazz Vocalist Grammy Nominee), Dawn Bishop (Background Vocalist for Sergio Mendes), and Kacee Clanton (‘One Night With Janis Joplin’ lead, background vocalist for Joe Cocker). My goal is to take the wisdom they’ve given me, make the most out of it, and pass it along.

My skills include:
- Knowing how to record vocals professionally on Logic Pro X… I know how to bounce wet and dry stems and how to mix my vocals lightly. I record with an Avantone CV-12 Tube Condenser Mic.
- Vocal arranging/producing with understanding of more complex harmony.
- Songwriting
- Lead + Background Vocals
- Light Guitar + Piano
