I'm Canberk Sezer and I have been a colorist for 8 years now. I have worked for commercials, short films and documentaries.
This is a three-step process. First is to color correct which includes white balance, saturation and brightness adjustments. The second is color grading which I give the film a specified look in terms of colors. Then the last is secondary grading which means color grading of specific areas like faces and other elements.
My equipment:
💻 Macbook Pro with M1 Max Chip and 64 GB ram.
🖥️ Color calibrated professional 4k monitor with %100 sgrb.
My main software for color grading was Davinci Resolve. But in the last years, Premiere Pro has upgraded its color grading capacities with the lumetri panel. So I use both software now.
