Not Recommended - Multiple Quality and Professionalism Issues
I hired Jamal for a video editing project that should have been straightforward, but encountered significant problems throughout:
Quality of Work:
- Initial deliverables were completely empty files
- Failed to follow basic instructions about screen recordings despite detailed guidance
- Repeatedly forgot to implement requested changes even after confirming understanding
- Final delivery had low quality motion graphics
Communication & Professionalism:
- Instead of attempting the work, asked me to create sample recordings ("Please provide at least these 3 screen recordings")
- Made multiple false promises about "final revisions" then delivered incomplete work
- Pressured for payment release before completing agreed-upon revisions
- Used emotional appeals and urgency tactics to push for payment ("I need urgently I have to fix my machine")
- Claimed to understand requirements ("Yes almost") but clearly did not
Reliability:
- Promised delivery dates that were not met
- Required excessive revisions due to not reading instructions carefully
