I´m a music producer for artists and brands. I produce and mix beyond the general knowledge of each genre standard but with audio branding and sonic identity in mind to always help improve what you are trying to communicate.
Music is more about communication than anything else, using sonic tools with this in mind will make your story, product, or song even more compelling.
As a romantic song should have a warmer sound and an aggressive song should generally be more "bright" all these concepts should be considered when working on a sonic piece from the start...
So that´s what almost no one does, good producers or mix engineers just stick with the standards (don´t want to be mean but most don´t even know about the standards of each genre) but there´s a step further, that helps shape identity in a very crowded space. That´s what I always aim to provide
