I have 10 years of experience as a musician, I played for multiple bands and genres such as jazz, reggae, rock, folk, and bolero. In my Bachelor of Music Education degree, I studied classical guitar and alto saxophone oriented to jazz music and big band arrangement in addition to Latin American music.
I've been working as a freelancer for 4 years now for more than 200 clients across the world doing transcriptions and arrangements in several styles and for several instruments. From jazz to classical, world music, dance, rock and folk. For piano, voice, wind instruments, bass, guitar, string quartet, and more.

Active listening
In the first few listening, I will analyze rhythm, melody, harmony, and instrumentation. Also, I will identify structure and form (verse, chorus, bridge, intro and outro, repetition and variations).
Creating the files
I import the song to my audio edition software and pinpoint important parts of the song and bar count. I create the Sibelius file with the info I get from step one and I'm ready to start the transcribing process.
