I will listen through your song and take note of what you have asked for. After one listen though that's when I will pick up a bass and start playing over it and figuring out some ideas.
Recording.
This is when I start the recording process. I will record a few takes until I have the one I'm happy with. Sometimes I may spice in a part from a different take if there is a part from it I particularly liked.
