Ronaldo Pereira holds a Bachelor of Music - UFRGS, Music Technician with emphasis on saxophone - EST / ESEP, instrumentalist, arranger, composer and teacher. He started his contact with music in childhood with the guitar and electric bass, in his adolescence he discovered the passion for saxophone and jazz, of which he made his object of study. Winner of several festivals with Bando Antiguera, ex. Nossa Música (NH, 2013) and WebFestvalda (RJ, 2014). Actively acts in the instrumental / jazz / blues scene from Rio Grande do Sul with groups such as Kula Quinteto - who had his first album recorded in 2015 and which has a composition signed in his name, “Shankar”, where he was featured at the POA Jazz Festival in 2016; Luciano Leães and The Big Chiefs, band that shared the stage with several international blues artists, such as Tia Carroll (USA), Whitney Shay (USA), Annika Chambers (USA), Michael Hardie (USA), with guitarist Igor Prado (SP) ) and pianist Henry Gray (Howli'n Wolf - USA) at several Blues festivals in Brazil. He is also part of the POA Jazz Band, the official band of the Porto Alegre Jazz Festival, where he also shared the stage with artists such as Sachal Vasandani (USA / India) and James Francies (USA). He had his first solo album entitled "Flower of Life", released in 2020 with 9 new tracks.
