English to French translation - using InDesign
The project took considerably longer than expected. Although the translation quality was good, only requiring a few minor revisions to align with industry-specific terminology, the InDesign file required significant adjustments and fine-tuning. Several technical aspects of the document setup and layout were overlooked, resulting in additional production work.
For a project of this nature, I would recommend working with a graphic designer who has strong expertise in Adobe InDesign. An experienced designer can properly structure the document, maintain interactive functionality, use styles and parent pages effectively, and build a file that is efficient to edit, production-ready, and capable of accommodating future revisions with minimal effort.
