I am a patent agent from India and have conducted more than 80 patent searches in various domains such as aeronautical, mechanical, pharma, software.
I want to explain to you how I proceed through the patent search.
I will divide the invention-related points into seven critical stages based on the type of invention, and is patent mapping, which is: Product,
Process,
The formulation composition of the product,
Products Method of Use,
Method of using as application, and ;
Freedom to operate.
2. Based on the invention stage: I will conduct proper and precise research, including A) classification search IPC, USPC, and CPC. B) nonpatent literature C) journey articles D) google scholar
3. I will discuss with the client the possible literature and its importance
i. Primary category ii. Secondary category iii. The tertiary category is inventions that do not cover the invention as a whole but a part of it is a detailed landscaping.
4. I will discuss the same with the client and, if required, will advise patent analysis.
5. I can also offer services such as infringement analysis and Freedom to operate reports based on invention details.
