About Oluwakemi
Author || Writer || Editor
Glasgow, United Kingdom - 11:08 pm local time
I have six years of professional copy editing experience. I have copy edited over 600 STM/HSS articles, as well as non-fiction and fiction manuscripts, checking for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors and ensuring consistency in style, tone and voice to enhance readability and adherence to editorial policies.
I have a Master of Letters degree in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow. I have taken several professional courses, which include Introduction to Copyediting by the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, Good with Words: Writing and Editing Specialization by the University of Michigan and Editing Mastery: How to Edit Writing to Perfection. I was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2021 so you can call me a lawyer.
I split my time between writing, reading and editing, and I wouldn’t have it another way. And on the side, I enjoy a bit of photography.
