I'm Russ; I specialize in helping people climb out of that river. As a university career director (10y), professional résumé writer (15y), & masters trained educator (5y), I have experience with & a passion for teaching others how to win the job search game through effective resume writing.
We do not need a stranger to write our resumes. Our $ is better spent learning the skills to do it the "right" way, for ourselves, and with our own voice. All we need is a little guidance, a little push. We're worth it.

I have always loved this quote: “You drown not by falling into the river, but by staying submerged in it.”
As a university Career Director, nonprofit Career Coach, master’s trained Résumé Writer, and once laid-off lost soul, I am passionate about helping those who are just trying to climb out of that river.
My work is led by key drivers; I BELIEVE:
• That a job is what we do to EARN A LIVING, a career is what we do to MAKE A LIVING, and a vocation is what we do to GIVE LIFE to others, where our deepest gladness & the world's deepest hunger, intersect.
• In deliberately creating room for "serendipity moments" to abound in our lives.
• That one imaginative person applying a well-placed lever can move the world.
A “good” resume or cv is but one part of an effective job search. It, along with an effective networking plan, can serve as a “serendipity vehicle” whereby we can garner attention from the “right” people.
In trying to help you realign your job search/career goals (or lack thereof!) with your public-facing “brand” materials like a resume or cv, I promise to care more about YOU than about myself.

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Russ can start the project.

Review all client documentation and provide initial feedback
After submitting drafts for the project, I will review everything closely and provide some initial feedback regarding my recommended strategy. It is MOST important to work WITH you, rather than merely FOR you.
