Congratulations on completing your fiction, crime, or thriller manuscript! Now you need a fresh pair of eyes on your book, to find out what works well or needs development. I am here to help. I have:
1. A track record of helping authors improve their manuscripts.
2. The ability to give detailed feedback on all aspects of your novel.
3. An MA in creative writing, with extensive knowledge of what makes a page-turner!
I aim to provide honest and useful feedback in all of my beta-reads. Where I spot an issue, such as plot holes or character inconsistencies, I will do my best to offer a solution that would fix it. This is not about changing your creative work, but rather bringing out the manuscript's potential.
I will:
• Read every word of your book, making notes and annotations as I go.
• Write an end report which outlines my thoughts and impressions as a reader.
• Highlight issues and suggest fixes.
• Use my knowledge of plot structure, character development, theme handling, narrative drive, etc to deliver a thoughtful report on your book.
I look forward to your DM.
